“Find a School” Requests

If you use a “Find a School” function or request information about local schools, instructors or training groups, we may process your contact details, location-related information voluntarily provided by you and your message content.

Where necessary to answer your request, we may forward your inquiry to a suitable local school, instructor or group lead. These local schools, instructors or group leads may be legally independent from Kali Silat International UG (haftungsbeschränkt).

The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR if your request is aimed at finding a training opportunity or entering into a related arrangement. Otherwise, the legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest is to connect interested persons with suitable local training opportunities.

If your inquiry is forwarded to an independent local provider, that provider is responsible for its own further processing of your data.


“Become a Member” and Membership-Related Functions

If you use a “Become a Member” function, membership request form or link to a membership platform, we may process the data required to handle your request and provide information about membership options.

Where the membership process is handled through Octahub or another external platform, personal data may be processed by that platform provider. The specific data processed depends on the respective membership process and platform configuration.

The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR where the processing is necessary for pre-contractual or contractual membership-related measures. Where we use technical service providers, the legal basis may also be Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR, based on our legitimate interest in efficient digital administration.


Event Registrations

If you register for an event, seminar, workshop or camp through this website or through a linked registration process, we process the data required to organize and administer the event.
